What’s Coming Next

At Bordio, our product roadmap is shaped by the voices of our users. Every feature you see on the roadmap has been scheduled for development based on the number of requests we’ve received. Whether a feature is mentioned during a demo call or through a simple support inquiry, we make sure to add it to our backlog. Each subsequent request for the same feature acts as an upvote, helping us track its popularity and importance to our users.

This user-driven approach ensures that our development efforts are aligned with what matters most to you. By maintaining a list of features sorted by the number of user requests, we can prioritize those that have the greatest impact. Add a specific time to task due dates

Expected release: January 2025

Want to set a precise time for when a task becomes overdue? Soon, you’ll be able to do just that! Specify a due date and time, like 20 Jan 2025 at 4:30 PM, to keep your tasks perfectly on track.

Subtask upgrade: Assignee, Due Date, and Estimated Time

Email notification for Overdue tasks

We’ve heard it loud and clear: users want to be notified when a task becomes overdue. It makes perfect sense—if you’re not checking Bordio daily, it’s easy to miss a deadline without realizing it. That’s about to change!

Dark theme for the Web app

Expected release: February 2025

We know the struggle—a bright interface can be a nightmare for many users, especially developers. That’s why we’ve designed an amazing Dark Theme and are excited to announce it’s finally scheduled for development!

Permission settings

Expected release: February 2025

We’ve often heard feedback from business owners like:

• “I don’t want my employees to delete a task I assigned to them.”
• “I don’t want them to change the due date.”
• “They shouldn’t be able to complete a task until it’s approved by their supervisor.”

To address these concerns, we’ve designed comprehensive permission settings for each role. You’ll be able to define exactly what each role can and cannot do. Plus, you can create custom roles in addition to the default ones, giving you complete control over task management and permissions.

Project dashboard

Expected release: February 2025

Want to get a clear picture of how your project is progressing? The Project Dashboard has you covered. It provides answers to key questions, such as:

• How many tasks have been created in this project?
• How many tasks have already been completed?
• How much time has been logged on this project?
• Are there any overdue tasks in this project?
• How much time has each project member spent?
• Which tasks are overspent (where spent time exceeds the estimated time)?
• And much more…

Dedicated Reports tool

Expected release: March 2025

One of the most common requests we’ve heard during demo calls is: “I need reports to measure my employees’ performance.” We took this seriously and designed a dedicated Reports section, giving you the ability to track almost everything:

• How many tasks was John assigned last month?
• How many tasks did John complete in the last 7 days?
• How many active tasks does John currently have?
• How much time did John log in the last 14 days (broken down by day)?
• In which projects does John currently have active tasks?
• How many of John’s tasks became overdue in the last 30 days?
• And much more…

Task Filters

Expected release: March 2025

Do you need a way to filter tasks? You’re not alone—we all do! With filters, you’ll be able to quickly find what you’re looking for. For example, you could view:

• Only tasks assigned to John
• Only tasks with the status “In Progress”
• Only tasks with a due date earlier than 30 Jan 2025
• And much more.
